Consulting Manager
The Consulting Manager position is part of a client delivery team, responsible for delivery of GE HealthCare Command Center solutions. The Command Center (CC) solution helps hospital systems create and implement advisory and technology solutions to improve financial, operational, clinical and patient safety outcomes for healthcare institutions. The Command Center Software, “Tiles”, are used to dynamically optimize coordination of patient care.
About the role
Client-facing individual responsible for the delivery of consultancy services at client site(s). Plans, leads, and delivers clinical command center programs with large scope and scale, ensuring high-quality delivery within area of responsibility and client satisfaction. Manages program deliverables, timelines, risks, and resource requirements. Uses sound judgement to make decisions and solve complex problems or tasks with the client team or project team.
Develops and demonstrates specialized knowledge related to patient flow, quality, hospital operations, and clinical practice in hospitals and non-hospital settings. Serves as a resource for best practices and quality. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, product roadmap, and client roadmap. Establishes credibility quickly, develops deep client relationships, and engages with client stakeholders at all levels, including executive-level sponsors and front-line caregiver teams.
Brings new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus. Leverages persuasion skills to influence others on topics within the field.
Responsibilities
- Lead billable customer work with hospital executives and oversee project teams to deliver complex outcomes through technology implementation and process optimization.
- Create new thought leadership content, develop and oversee junior team members, and constantly support work to improve how work is delivered, documented, and sold.
- Drive change using Change Management tools, LEAN, or Six Sigma.
- Develop impactful executive client-facing communications and presentations.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in hospital patient flow and/or access consulting serving major US health systems.
- Significant experience in healthcare consulting and knowledge of hospital operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of the healthcare industry and major trends in the geography where client projects are delivered.
- Demonstrated project management expertise or certification.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to travel at least 80% (Weekly travel Monday-Thursday).
Qualifications
- Deep analytical skills and proficiency with SSMS and Azure Data Studio.
- RN, MBA, or Master’s Degree (desired).

Pay
For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $128,800.00-$193,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
This position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
