About the role

As a Senior Consultant within EY’s Digital Engineering Managed Services team, you will design and build scalable full‑stack applications for Media & Entertainment platforms, including streaming, content management, and digital experiences. This role requires 5–8 years of experience in full‑stack development, working across Java backend services and modern frontend frameworks in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot, Microservices).
• Build frontend applications using React or Angular.
• Develop REST APIs and integrate third‑party systems.
• Support cloud‑native deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization efforts.
• Support media workflows including content distribution and streaming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, and React/Angular skills.
• Experience with REST APIs and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Preferred: Media & Entertainment experience (OTT, streaming) and Node.js familiarity.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position in the United States is $86,500 to $142,700. For the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $103,700 to $162,100. Individual salaries are determined based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
