Consulting Internship: Software Engineering (Summer 2027)

The Elevate internship program offers a 10‑week, in‑person immersion in Richmond, VA, simulating a full IT consulting project life‑cycle. Interns work in self‑led teams, are paired with full‑time consultants for mentorship, and participate in weekly lunch‑and‑learns with leadership. Responsibilities

• Designing and developing applications with leading front‑end and back‑end technologies in web, mobile, cloud, web services, and/or DevOps
• Partnering with client stakeholders to build systems in new and innovative ways
• Managing parallel development and code versioning with Git

Qualifications

• Current undergraduates with expected graduation dates between December 2027 and May 2028, seeking full‑time work after graduation
• Demonstrated ability to be a self‑motivated contributor in a team environment
• Project or internship experience with development platforms and languages such as Java, .NET, C#, C++, Go, Android, iOS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, AWS, and Azure
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• All majors welcome; Computer Science, BIT, Systems Engineering majors preferred but not required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Pay

The hourly pay for this role is $30/hr.

Schedule

In‑person, 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, from June 1 through August 6, 2027.
