About the role
The Senior Instructor will support a classified government customer program by managing all aspects of courses, including developing new course material, instructing, scheduling guest speakers, updating course content, and ensuring the course remains current and relevant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, execute, and maintain innovative learning solutions.
- Manage classrooms and assist other instructors in developing new course material.
- Deliver in-person and virtual learning instructional programs according to course requirements.
- Use instructional technology and conduct assessment strategies.
- Provide formal and informal student feedback and analyze learning objectives.
- Present status updates and participate in team meetings.
- Willingness to dive deep into emerging technology content.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record in instructional design and facilitation.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Intelligence Community.
- Experience teaching audiences of various sizes and levels of seniority.
- Knowledge of current learning and development models, research, and theories.
- Familiarity with a range of educational technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher).
- Experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia and Snagit, TurningPoint ARS software, and instructional game software.
- Knowledge of AI trends and ability to independently research and learn new AI tools.
- Experience creating, publishing, and maintaining learning content in LMS environments.
- Experience with competency mapping and learning needs assessment.

- Track record using empirical data to inform instructional design decisions.
- Experience designing instructional strategies that engage, motivate, or are learner-centered.
- Experience with face-to-face, online, and blended learning strategies.
- Experience with project management plans for instructional design projects.
- Experience designing assessments of learning.
- Ability to collaborate across functional teams.
