Consulting Dietitian

Job Responsibilities

• Counsels individuals and groups on nutrition
• Develops and implements nutrition intervention plans
• Conducts patient nutrition assessments
• Assesses educational needs and barriers to learning
• Provides follow-up care based on patient goals
• Ensures compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards
• Documents nutrition care plans accurately
• Maintains clinical productivity standards

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with accredited or approved course work in nutrition and dietetics
• Earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements

About the Role

The Consulting Dietitian provides nutrition care to patients on an as-needed basis, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and documenting this accurately. They also establish multidisciplinary relationships to enhance patient care.
