Consulting Dietitian
Job Responsibilities
- Counsels individuals and groups on nutrition
- Develops and implements nutrition intervention plans
- Conducts patient nutrition assessments
- Assesses educational needs and barriers to learning
- Provides follow-up care based on patient goals
- Ensures compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards
- Documents nutrition care plans accurately
- Maintains clinical productivity standards
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with accredited or approved course work in nutrition and dietetics
- Earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements
About the Role
The Consulting Dietitian provides overall nutrition care to patients on an as-needed basis. Ensures nutritional needs of individual patients are being met and all documentation, as it relates to the patient’s nutritional status, is complete and accurate.
Plans and administers activities related to resident/patient nutrition care, complying with the standards established by Aramark, regulatory agencies, and clients. Establishes and maintains effective multidisciplinary relationships to provide a unified approach to patient/resident care.
