The Marketing Enablement & Capability Consultant serves as a strategic partner to the business, helping improve marketing and sales enablement capabilities through performance consulting, business analysis, and capability planning.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders, Marketing Operations, Sales Development & Training, Technology, and vendors to identify capability needs and define desired business outcomes.
- Connect business outcomes to process design, SaaS capabilities, adoption, learning transfer, performance conditions, and measurement.
- Translate business needs into practical SaaS-enabled processes that improve adoption and performance.
- Analyze business processes, performance gaps, and platform capabilities to recommend solutions that improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Translate strategic business needs into clear capability recommendations, priorities, and implementation roadmaps.
- Align business requirements, process design, learning strategies, change impacts, and technology capabilities to support successful adoption and performance.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and complex dependencies across multiple teams to drive alignment and results.
- Measure solution effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements to ensure sustained business value.
- Coordinate, develop, and maintain measurement dashboards that track adoption, performance, and business outcomes.
- Utilize expertise in design, development, configuration, customization, deployment, maintenance, and updating of processes and procedures.
- Ensure processes are followed within the organization and effectively manage customer communication.
- Manage day-to-day operations of business and systems processes, including the operation of process-related tools.
- Run key process events and fulfill customer requests and process results through all phases of the process life cycle.
- Consult and provide expertise to executives, customers, and core business functions on process redesign and/or re-engineering initiatives through continuous process improvements.
- Consult as a process specialist on process evaluations and develop recommendations using benchmarks, pilots, prototyping, and modeling.
- Develop and provide recommendations on possible process, tool, and control improvements to increase quality and optimization of business services and resources.
- Lead ongoing process design activities for a given set of customers.
- Provide experienced consultation for sophisticated process tools and methods to develop, design, implement, monitor, maintain, operate, and improve business and/or system processes.
- Mentor, educate, and train others on the use of process design techniques, methods, and tools.
- Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors, partners, and suppliers to support customer or systems plans.
- Manage service evaluations on outside consulting service vendors.
- Serve as a consultant for the most complex process design projects involving process subject areas and impacting multiple business units.
- Contribute to the overall strategic vision and provide a broad range of ideas regarding process design, implementation, support, and operation initiatives.
- May serve in an operational authority or approval role in the execution of processes.
Requirements
- Experience in business consulting, sales or marketing enablement, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, or business analysis.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and performance improvement practices, with the ability to shape adoption and capability-building strategies.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable recommendations, priorities, and solutions.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and communicate effectively with technology teams and vendors.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing decisions in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Experience building, maintaining, and automating business-facing dashboards and scorecards that measure adoption, performance, and business outcomes.
- Experience working with marketing, sales enablement, CRM, or learning technology platforms is preferred.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and FINRA Series 6 licenses within 120 days of hire.
- Undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, or related field preferred.
- Process-related certifications preferred.
- Product-related technical insurance course work (e.g., CPCU, CPU, LOMA) preferred.
- Typically, eight or more years of experience in business process design or operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in process analysis, process design, and process implementation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required.
- Proven understanding of customer business environment.
- Proficiency in process development or process operations preferred.
- Proven leadership skills including the ability to virtually lead teams.
- Strong ability to work with process vendors in the delivery of project solutions.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to make decisions and recommendations on process strategies.
Schedule
This hybrid position is based in Columbus, OH. Candidates will collaborate in office 3 days per week.

Pay
The national salary range for Consultant, Process Management: $87,000.00 - $162,000.00.
The expected starting salary range for Consultant, Process Management: $87,000.00 - $131,000.00.
