Consultant or Senior Consultant, Epic Healthcare Consulting

About the role

ECG, a national consulting firm specializing in healthcare, is seeking individuals with healthcare IT and EHR experience to support projects involving Epic and other EHR platforms. Consultants and senior consultants will apply their technical expertise to analyze workflows, identify opportunities for system optimization, evaluate product capabilities and roadmaps, and develop data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to analyze workflows.
• Identify opportunities for system optimization.
• Evaluate product capabilities and roadmaps.
• Develop data-driven recommendations.
• Translate project requirements into system design, configuration, and build activities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working directly with Epic and maintaining current Epic certifications, including Ambulatory and Cadence.
• Master’s degree preferred in business, healthcare administration, public health, analytics, economics, engineering, or related fields.
• Consultant: Typically 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, healthcare operations, analytics, or related fields.
• Senior Consultant: Master’s degree in business or a health-related field preferred; typically 3+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, operations, or analytics.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; ability to independently conduct intermediate-level analyses and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to lead complex analyses, present findings to senior audiences, and mentor junior team members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong judgment, and ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
