Consultant or Senior Consultant
About the role
We seek a highly motivated individual to work as a Consultant or Senior Consultant in the Pacific Northwest market. This role may be filled at different levels depending on the selected candidate’s experience and expertise. We seek a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and can think outside the box. The position’s responsibilities will incorporate analysis of real estate markets, consumer research, demographic analysis, and product design.
Our clients include builders, developers, landowners, private equity groups, hedge funds, and building product companies nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Conducting market research and analyzing housing data trends for custom real estate consulting and writing reports with strong, supportable conclusions.
- Researching our proprietary consumer research and design databases and applying appropriate insight to individual consulting assignments.
- Analyzing demographic research and trends in the context of specific consulting assignments.
- Participate in the project management process (depending on experience level), including the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closing of consulting engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a strong interest in the real estate industry and a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities accurately.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and database tools, and exceptional written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated interest in analyzing real estate using data, consumer research, and demographic analysis, with a high standard of excellence in all deliverables.
- Knowledge of economic analysis, market research methodologies, and creative problem-solving techniques.
- Two to four years of professional experience in real estate, finance, valuation, appraisal, market research, or a related field.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical judgment.
- Willingness and ability to travel by car or plane, including occasional overnight travel, up to approximately 40% of the time.
- Cover letters are required.
