Consultant, Enterprise Legal Management - Project Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Consultant, Enterprise Legal Management - Project Lead to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead enterprise legal management initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation, with a strong focus on translating legal department needs into effective technology solutions. The consultant will partner closely with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver configured systems, project documentation, and testing support. Success in this position will require a blend of legal operations knowledge, project leadership, and consulting acumen in a fast-moving legal technology environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Support the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering to solution implementation Conduct business process reviews and translate client business needs into technical solutions Draft functional design documents, test scripts, and training guides Configure legal technology based on gathered requirements and support system testing Manage project scope, timelines, and client expectations while building strong client relationships Research legal technology trends and stay informed on industry developments Assist with business development activities to support team growth Qualifications 7+ years of experience in legal or consulting roles, such as in-house legal departments or law firms Proven expertise in legal technology assessments, requirements gathering, and system implementation Experience with ELM/eBilling and Matter Management tools, and familiarity with systems such as TeamConnect and CounselLink Demonstrated project management capabilities, including oversight of tasks and financials in technology implementations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication and leadership abilities Benefits Full-time remote working option with preference for hybrid work from the Chicago headquarters Opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in corporate legal technology Engagement with leading vendors to provide clients with top-notch service Chance to collaborate with a dynamic and experienced team in a cooperative environment Potential for professional growth and development in legal technology Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
