About the role
We are seeking a Consultant to join our Economic Damages and Valuations team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly driven candidate with strong analytical and organizational skills to work closely with testifying experts and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive analysis of financial statements, tax returns, and transactional data to develop financial models and support data driven decision making.
- Conduct in depth company, industry, and product research.
- Input financial statement, tax return, and transactional data.
- Aid in drafting expert reports.
- Review and analyze reports of opposing damages experts.
- Prepare data for demonstrative tables, charts, and graphs.
- Organize documents and maintain orderly records.
- Perform quality control checks.
- Attend internal training events.
- Engage directly with clients on analytical findings and document requests, coordinating with the expert to ensure effective communication and client service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in both your major and overall.
- Experience analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and general ledger data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality expert reports.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong independent work ethic with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively support and address client needs.
