Consultant(e) Développement Quantitative H/F – New York
About the role
The Quantitative Research team is responsible for maintaining and developing new architectures and solutions to streamline and standardize the pricing, risk, and P&L chain for various financial products.
Responsibilities
- Adapt the calculation of risk explanations and P&L following model changes or to improve P&L explanations for existing models.
- Expand the platform's reach and assist in its rollout to users who have not yet been onboarded.
- Contribute to the development of the platform to ensure that the codebase remains up to production standards.
- Ensure a high level of platform availability.
- Help traders when they need expert guidance to understand their P&L and revenue drivers.
Profile
- Master's degree (business school, engineering school, or university).
Skills
- Strong knowledge of an asset class (fixed income, equity derivatives).
- Previous experience in quantitative research in the front office is required.
- Solid experience in mathematics (numerical analysis, algorithms, etc.).
- Extensive experience with C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Comfortable working with large-scale libraries and collaborating with people from various backgrounds (quantitative analysts, IT, etc.).
- Able to propose new design patterns and architectures with a strong emphasis on clean, well-organized code and a focus on industrialization.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently within the scope of the project and the quantitative team’s requirements.
- A flexible and practical approach, with a drive to get things done.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
