About the role

The Practice Lifecycle Consultant is a consultative sales role responsible for driving growth across several highest-priority practice lifecycle offerings including: associate placement, buyer representation, practice valuations, and dental start-up support. This individual serves as a key revenue contributor on the transitions team, working alongside the Senior Practice Lifecycle Consultant to expand our reach and deepen its value to dental professionals at every stage of their career.

A central focus of this role is ownership of our partnership with IgniteDDS - a high-impact relationship that connects our company with dental students, new graduates, start-up candidates, and practicing dentists through a network of over 27,000 active members. The Practice Lifecycle Consultant manages this partnership as a primary lead source, nurtures the pipeline it generates, and converts those relationships into long-term customers. This individual also represents Clarion Solutions (a division of 1930 Ventures, formerly Benco Dental) at IgniteDDS-hosted events, dental schools, and regional engagements designed to educate and activate new buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with key partners and internal stakeholders to ensure that start-up leads are managed efficiently throughout their experience
  • Monitor program metrics and provide regular reports on program performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
  • Partner with the field sales force to identify and develop opportunities for valuations, associate placement, and start-up consulting within their existing customer base and prospect pipeline
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for territory representatives, equipping them to recognize and refer practice lifecycle opportunities and co-engage on key customer conversations
  • Own and manage the day-to-day relationship with IgniteDDS, serving as the primary liaison for lead referrals, event coordination, and joint go-to-market activity
  • Represent Clarion Solutions (a division of 1930 Ventures, formerly Benco Dental) at IgniteDDS-hosted regional events, dental school engagements, and community activations educating attendees and converting relationships into active pipeline
  • Manage the associate placement pipeline, matching dental graduates and early-career dentists with selling or transitioning practices seeking associate talent
  • Build and maintain relationships with dental students, residents, and new graduates through school partnerships, IgniteDDS referrals, field sales collaboration, and direct outreach
  • Own the start-up consulting pipeline, serving as the primary resource for dentists launching a de novo practice from initial planning through opening
  • Leverage the field sales force, IgniteDDS network, and school relationships to identify and develop start-up candidates early in their career journey, positioning us as the partner of choice
  • Conduct and support practice valuations using our established methodology, contributing to seller engagements and the broader transitions pipeline
  • Collaborate with the Practice Lifecycle Manager on active transition deals, supporting deal execution and growing toward full transaction ownership over time
  • Manage a multi-faceted pipeline across placement, start-up, buyer rep, and valuation opportunities maintaining accurate records, proactive follow-through, and consistent momentum across both the field and IgniteDDS channels
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue goals and OKRs, collaborating with the transitions team and field sales force to maximize opportunity across all channels
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

Requirements

  • 4-6 years experience in Dental Industry Operations, Trends, and Regulations (Required)
  • Experience in content creation and social media management (Preferred)
  • Proven experience in program coordination, project management, or related roles (Required)
  • Licensed Real Estate Agent (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management (Required)
  • Ability to effectively communicate (Read, Write, Speak) English is required
  • Ability to work onsite 2 days per week at our home office in Pittston, PA
