Role Summary

Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for coordinating global partnership across all operational functions, (valuations/pricing, attribution/performance, data management, reconciliation, Corporate Actions). This role requires excellent understanding of various investment instruments, e.g. Equities and Fixed Income. As a Consultant, you will provide valuable guidance and support to our clients in navigating corporate action events.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Setting up of an Event Announcement, Election Management, Processing of Entitlements, as well as Reconciliation, Investigation and Resolution of Corporate Actions' related issues.
  • Perform detailed analysis of all global Corporate Action event types, including but not limited to Mergers, Dividends, Exchanges, and Tenders to provide comprehensive insight to the internal and external partners.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Actions to develop process improvements or in support of initiatives that benefit division/department strategy.
  • Ensure all updates are incorporated into relevant Corporate Actions Procedures.
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with internal partners across the enterprise to resolve escalations, inquiries, incidents and challenges as quickly as possible.
  • Maintain and pro-actively communicate the BCP procedure updates to the team.
  • Adeherence to Standards & Procedures and the promotion of best practices.
  • Maintain KPI’s, Volumes trend analysis and Error log for the process.
  • Should be highly agile to assume various cross-functional roles and responsibilities in alignment with business demands.
  • Generates ideas for operational efficiency and assesses impact.

Necessary Knowledge And Skills

  • Understanding of the Corporate Action Lifecycle processes and related Asset Management functions preferred.
  • Knowledge of global market nuances related to Corporate Action processing, financial markets, legal and regulatory requirements preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects and system development changes.
  • Experience operating industry recognized platforms, such as Aladdin and Eagle preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Necessary Experience And Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, emphasis in Accounting/Finance preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Operations functions within Asset Servicing and/or Asset Management.
  • Experience in Corporate Actions is preferred.

Pay

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Salary range is $66,700 - 113,300 USD.
