Consultant Coordinator - Transportation Program Specialist 3 or Transportation Program Specialist 2

About the role

This position provides district-wide support for the financial tracking/management of the Metro District Consultant Administration program. Under general supervision, this employee is responsible for assisting in ongoing analysis and financial reporting for district set-aside and consultant services funding received by the District, along with other funding sources, ensuring funds are used appropriately and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ongoing analysis and financial reporting for district set-aside and consultant services funding received by the District, along with other funding sources.
• Ensure funds are used appropriately and effectively.
• Work with functional units/sections in the development and fiscal management of professional technical (P/T) contracts that are advanced by Metro District Consultant Administration, District Offices and Metro District Leadership.
• Help manage Metro District’s Consultant Allocation budget.
• Administer contracts for Metro District.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of professional experience performing the following responsibilities:
• Experience working with Statewide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT) or related online financial procurement and reporting system sufficient to access, analyze and interpret financial data.
• Experience with budgeting and accounting principles (GAAP) sufficient to track expenditures, prepare and maintain spending plans and recommend solutions to procedural and other fiscal problems so that projects remain on schedule.
• Preparation and presentation of financial and statistical reports and graphs or other summaries of data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field may substitute for one year of professional experience.

Pay

• Salary range for Transportation Program Specialist 3: $29.76 - $43.69 / hourly; $62,139 - $91,225 / annually.
• Salary range for Transportation Program Specialist 2: $26.89 - $39.22 / hourly; $56,146 - $81,891 / annually.

Schedule

• Day shift.
• Monday - Friday.
