About the role
The qualified person will have experience in addressing real-world applied economics questions, including in the areas of intellectual property, and financial analysis. This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with robust analytical ability, strong organizational skills, and a desire to work with leading experts in the field.
Responsibilities
- Lead project workstreams
- Provide strategic guidance
- Develop analytical frameworks
- Mentor junior staff
- Execute and oversee engagement work streams that may be either quantitative or qualitative in nature
- Design economic, statistical, and financial analysis
- Model financial data and markets
- Manage existing client relationships
- Develop and present client deliverables
- Manage junior staff
- Ensure quality control
- Conduct industry research
- Expand business
Requirements
- Master’s degree with an academic focus on quantitative research (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline)
- A minimum of four (4+) years of experience in an advisory firm managing commercial disputes
- A minimum of two (2+) years of experience in antitrust & competition litigation matters
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial and/or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods
- Strong leadership capabilities, ability to communicate effectively with both junior and senior staff
- Experience working with large data sets in Excel and/or statistical analysis programs (e.g SAS, Stata, R, etc.)
- Ability to create strategic visions and implement strategies with a proven track record
- Desire to work within a highly collaborative team environment
- Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting with the broader vision of generating business and becoming known in the marketplace as an Expert in your field
Qualifications

- ABD or PhDs will be considered for our Economist track
- Minimum four (4+) years of experience in an advisory firm managing commercial disputes
