About the role

The qualified person will have experience in addressing real-world applied economics questions, including in the areas of intellectual property, and financial analysis. This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with robust analytical ability, strong organizational skills, and a desire to work with leading experts in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead project workstreams
• Provide strategic guidance
• Develop analytical frameworks
• Mentor junior staff
• Execute and oversee engagement work streams that may be either quantitative or qualitative in nature
• Design economic, statistical, and financial analysis
• Model financial data and markets
• Manage existing client relationships
• Develop and present client deliverables
• Manage junior staff
• Ensure quality control
• Conduct industry research
• Expand business

Requirements

• Master’s degree with an academic focus on quantitative research (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline)
• A minimum of four (4+) years of experience in an advisory firm managing commercial disputes
• A minimum of two (2+) years of experience in antitrust & competition litigation matters
• Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial and/or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods
• Strong leadership capabilities, ability to communicate effectively with both junior and senior staff
• Experience working with large data sets in Excel and/or statistical analysis programs (e.g SAS, Stata, R, etc.)
• Ability to create strategic visions and implement strategies with a proven track record
• Desire to work within a highly collaborative team environment
• Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting with the broader vision of generating business and becoming known in the marketplace as an Expert in your field

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4+) years of experience in an advisory firm managing commercial disputes

Senior Associate - $70,000 – $135,000 per year
Consultant - $70,000 – $150,000 per year
