About the role

The qualified person will have experience in addressing real-world applied economics questions, including in the areas of intellectual property, and financial analysis. This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with robust analytical ability, strong organizational skills, and a desire to work with leading experts in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project workstreams, provide strategic guidance, develop analytical frameworks, and mentor junior staff.
  • Execute and oversee engagement work streams that may be either quantitative or qualitative in nature.
  • Design economic, statistical, and financial analysis.
  • Model financial data and markets.
  • Manage existing client relationships.
  • Develop and present client deliverables.
  • Manage junior staff, ensure quality control, conduct industry research, and expand business.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree with an academic focus on quantitative research (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline).
  • Minimum four (4+) years of experience in an advisory firm managing commercial disputes.
  • Minimum two (2+) years of experience in antitrust & competition litigation matters.
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial and/or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, ability to communicate effectively with both junior and senior staff.
  • Experience working with large data sets in Excel and/or statistical analysis programs (e.g. SAS, Stata, R, etc.).
  • Demonstrated the ability to create strategic visions and to implement strategies with a proven track record.
  • Desire to work within a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting with the broader vision of generating business and becoming known in the marketplace as an Expert in your field.

  • ABD or PhDs will be considered for our Economist track.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: Senior Associate - $70,000 – $135,000 per year.
  • Consultant - $70,000 – $150,000 per year.

Pay

  • Senior Associate - $70,000 – $135,000 per year.
  • Consultant - $70,000 – $150,000 per year.

Schedule

  • Full-time.
