Consultant, Actuarial – Retirement Solutions Financial Reporting - REMOTE

This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Support GAAP and statutory valuation and financial reporting for retirement products
• Enhance and maintain GGY AXIS models ensuring efficiency and robustness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support transactions and strategic capital projects
• Identify and implement model improvements for better transparency and decision-making
• Analyze risks and perform financial reporting and valuation under various accounting regimes

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of actuarial experience, focusing on retirement product or annuity valuation and forecasting
• Proficiency with GGY AXIS or similar modeling platforms, capable of working with complex models
• Strong analytical skills with familiarity in SQL and Excel/VBA for data tracing and analysis
• Effective communicator, able to present complex actuarial concepts to non-actuarial stakeholders
• Demonstrated ownership mindset and strong problem-solving abilities, adept at managing priorities around deadlines
• ASA certification required; progress towards FSA preferred

Pay

$108,000 – $200,000 annually
