About the role
As a Construction Service Crew Foreman, you will lead a team of 2-3 to repair projects with quality workmanship in a timely manner. You will solve issues as they arise, provide professional leadership, and create a safe, organized, and productive work environment. You will ensure all crew members, including new hires, are fully trained and follow safety and construction procedures. This role requires travel with some overnight stays (up to 25% of the time).
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers on all contractual aspects of the project
- Organize materials and plan daily activities
- Lead by personal example, ensuring cooperation from all crew members in timely starts and stops
- Perform and promote safe and proper use and maintenance of all tools and equipment
- Demonstrate vast knowledge of older existing Morton buildings and non-Morton buildings
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in the building construction industry
- Extensive experience in post-frame construction
- Valid driver’s license and Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire)
- Willingness to participate in and lead formal training programs
- Embrace accountability and ownership
- Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season
- Comply with all safety processes and procedures
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds
- Capable of working in a physically demanding environment and at heights up to 40 feet
Pay
$40.00 to $43.25 per hour, based on experience.
