Key Identifiers For This Opportunity

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required. Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Licenses & Certification: AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP, or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certifications.
• Minimum Years and Experience: Ten (10) years or more experience on airport building programs or similar complex building programs. Two (2) or more years of wayfinding experience.
• Software: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and proficient in Bluebeam for creating, editing, and reviewing visual materials and layouts. Scheduling proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint).

Essential Job Duties

• Creating, Implementing, and Overseeing Temporary Wayfinding Strategies: Supporting pedestrian flow and user experience.
• Assessing Signage Quality: Ensuring visual appeal and adherence to standards, recommending specific sign types.
• Managing Collaborative Projects: Leading multi-disciplinary teams, including technical and non-technical staff.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Reading, interpreting, and analyzing project schedules, Gantt charts, and design plans; coordinating across various disciplines.
• Evaluating Signage Needs: Considering construction activities, environmental factors, and user expectations.
• Working with Various Materials: Using signage, temporary wayfinding, and mapping industry best practices.
• Reviewing Submittals: Evaluating projects' submittals, Phasing Plan, and Site Logistics Plans.
• Developing Concepts: Creating concepts, location plans, and proposed wayfinding paths of travel with high visual impact.
• Planning, Production, and Installation: Planning, producing, and installing temporary wayfinding that translates complex information into easy-to-understand visuals.
• Tracking Phasing: Tracking phasing for production and installation schedules across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and an integrated approach.
• Quality Assurance: Verifying the quality and consistency of signage and wayfinding elements, ensuring visual appeal and usability.
• Communication: Writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical or field-based information to both project teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications

• Experience on Airport Building Programs: Ten (10) years or more experience on airport building programs or similar complex building programs. Two (2+) years of airport experience in creating, implementing, and overseeing temporary wayfinding strategies.
• Collaboration: Managing multiple collaborative wayfinding projects with multidisciplinary teams, including staff with technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Reading and Interpreting Schedules: Reading, interpreting, and analyzing project schedules, Gantt charts, and design plans.
• Signage Needs Evaluation: Evaluating signage needs based on construction activities, environmental factors, and user expectations.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of signage materials, fabrication methods, color theory, typography, and font specifications. Knowledge of industry best practices.
• Visualization Skills: Strong visualization skills. Experience in developing concepts, location plans, and proposed wayfinding paths of travel with high visual impact.
• Installation Procedures: Hands-on experience with installation procedures, including regular site walks to evaluate signage effectiveness and updates to plans as needed.
• Project Management: Skilled in tracking phasing for production and installation schedules across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and a holistic approach.

Compensation

This role is salaried/exempt with a base annual salary range of $104,140.00 - $114,140.00 and commensurate with skill, education, experience, and work location. This role is bonus eligible after 6 months of employment.

This job operates in a professional environment and uses standard equipment such as computers and phones. Physical Demands: Be able to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day. Demonstrate the ability to move freely for up to 8 hours per day.
