Construction Technician II

About the role

The Construction Tech II performs a wide range of skilled construction tasks including, but not limited to: heavy construction activities, demolition of existing construction, laying out and constructing walls, installing doors, flooring, ceilings, and cabinetry. Also fabricates and installs solid surface materials as required.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school or equivalent
• Minimum Work Experience: 5 years
• Required Licenses/Certifications: Driver License, clear driving record

• Hand and power tools
• Cabinets, build and repair
• Solid Surface Build and repair

Working Conditions

• May be exposed to extremes of heat and cold in all weather conditions
• Works in precarious or high locations (ladders, scaffolding, etc.)
• Handles emergency or crisis situations
• May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases
• Occasionally exposed to radiation hazards
• Exposed to hazards from electrical/mechanical/power equipment
• May be exposed to toxic chemicals
• Use of personal protective equipment
