About the role
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the educational program at YouthBuild, teaching construction skills to young adults.
Responsibilities
- Teach construction skills to students
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum
- Mentor and support student development
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
- Experience in teaching construction or related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for education and community service
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Proficiency in construction techniques
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
