Construction Surveillance Technician - Ogallala, NE

About the role

Congratulations on your interest in joining Contractor Services, Inc. for the 2026 season! Based in North Platte, Nebraska, we serve central Nebraska to the panhandle and eastern Colorado. We are a fast-growing traffic control company offering a variety of services including traffic control, roadway and airport pavement marking, pavement marking removals, temporary barrier rail, temporary signals, message boards, and other smart zone equipment.

Responsibilities

• Position and maintain traffic control devices on roadway construction projects.
• Make trips through the work zone and check the placement of devices on an hourly basis throughout the shift.
• Train in classroom and on-the-job to set up, move, and re-position traffic control devices.
• Ensure safety is prioritized, adhering to the Safety handbook and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Work away from home, report to work at the designated start time, and be willing to work overtime.
• Work outside in all-weather conditions and communicate effectively with others.

Requirements

• A driver's license (required).
• At least 22 years of age.
• A clean driving record.
• Professional conduct both with coworkers and the public.
• Ability to lift 80+ lbs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to work away from home.
• Must be available to work shifts including 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, and may require overtime.
