Construction Supervisor (contract)

Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity to play a critical role in a large-scale greenfield power generation construction project. The selected candidate will serve as an on-site construction oversight professional responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities are executed in strict accordance with project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Working directly alongside EPC contractor teams, this individual will conduct thorough quality inspections, document findings, and help drive the successful delivery of a multi-turbine power generation facility from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil discipline-specific construction oversight and inspection of EPC contractor activities
• Perform quality inspections using ArcGIS, Survey123, and standardized inspection templates
• Verify that EPC contractor work meets all contract, design, and specification requirements
• Document inspection results, findings, and records within designated project management systems
• Participate in daily Plan of the Day (POD) meetings to coordinate site activities
• Cookordination inspection readiness and scheduling with the EPC contractor
• Adhere to all site safety requirements, including proper use of PPE at all times on the active construction site

Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and standards
• Proficiency in performing quality control inspections on active construction sites
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, Survey123, or Procore for inspection documentation and reporting
• Effective communication and coordination skills for working within large project teams
• Detail-oriented documentation and record-keeping abilities
• Commitment to safety compliance in an active construction environment

Qualifications

• Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in civil construction oversight or a related discipline
• Background: Demonstrated background in quality control inspections on large-scale construction projects
• Power plant construction experience, including gas, coal, or similar facilities, strongly preferred
• Combustion turbine project experience is a plus but not required

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check

Pay Rate Range: 46.15 - 61.54 USD hourly
