Coastal Quality Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced On-Site Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of active construction projects. This role coordinates field activities, maintains project schedules, ensures quality workmanship, and promotes a safe and organized job site. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, suppliers, and clients to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on the job site.
- Set up and maintain an organized project site, including the construction office or trailer.
- Direct field personnel to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain the construction schedule, identify issues proactively, and implement solutions.
- Order materials and coordinate required inspections throughout the construction process.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and the company’s Safety and Loss Control Program.
- Promote safe work practices, identify job site hazards, and work with the Safety Director to enforce safety procedures.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal team members.
- Oversee completion of final punch list items to support timely project turnover.
- Follow established company emergency policies and procedures.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and assigned training sessions.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Work the hours necessary to achieve project goals within required time constraints.
- Maintain site filing systems and project documentation.
- Assist the Project Manager throughout the draw process.
- Perform all Quality Control inspections in accordance with the company’s Policy & Procedures Manual.
Requirements
- Experience as an On-Site Superintendent or in a similar field leadership role within construction.
- Strong carpentry background preferred.
- Solid understanding of construction operations, scheduling, inspections, and quality control.
- Ability to lead crews and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and job site safety best practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Professional demeanor and ability to foster positive job site relationships.
- Must be able to work on-site and manage the demands of an active construction environment.
- Ability to travel to different job sites when needed.

Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 per year
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday – Friday
- Additional hours as needed to meet project demands
Work Location
On-site in Tampa, FL. Travel required for certain projects; per diem provided.
