Construction Superintendent

About the role

As a Superintendent, you’ll play a critical leadership role on a high-profile healthcare project supporting an emergency department expansion for a major Midwest health system. More than just leading the work, you’ll build strong relationships—serving as a trusted partner to project teams, trade partners, and owners to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Leading production planning efforts
• Cooking daily operations
• Investing in developing the next generation of field leaders
• Creating an environment where people can succeed while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with Boldt’s culture and values

Requirements

• 7+ years of construction experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory role
• 2+ years of healthcare construction experience either ground up construction or capital improvements within an active hospital
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and field operations
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and deliver projects safely and efficiently
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop others
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and work closely with project teams and stakeholders

Benefits

• Base salary range: $110,000 - $145,000 annually

Pay

• Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law
