Construction Superintendent
About the role

In this role, you’ll lead field teams, coordinate production activities, and drive execution across active jobsites. You’ll work closely with Foremen, subcontractors, Project Managers, and leadership teams to maintain schedule performance, resolve challenges proactively, and ensure projects remain aligned with quality and safety expectations. From workforce coordination and production sequencing through project closeout, you’ll serve as a critical link between planning and execution while helping create a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Field. Drive Execution. Oversee and direct all daily onsite construction activities while providing leadership and support to field personnel.
- Partner with Foremen, Leads, subcontractors, and crews to ensure efficient workflows and maintain productivity across all project phases.
- Plan, manage, and adjust production schedules and field sequencing to ensure milestones and project deadlines remain on track.
- Track daily progress and proactively identify delays, conflicts, resource constraints, and risks that could impact execution.
- Promote and enforce OSHA standards, company policies, and safe work practices while maintaining discipline across active jobsites.
- Verify all installations align with project specifications, customer expectations, and quality standards.
- Perform regular field walks and inspections to ensure compliance with plans, safety requirements, and project deliverables.
- Work closely with Project Managers and leadership teams to align field execution with broader project objectives.
- Identify, escalate, and address field-related challenges to maintain momentum and minimize disruptions.
- Complete daily reports, site logs, progress tracking, and field documentation to support communication and project visibility.
- Aid with inspections, material deliveries, workforce scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
- Drive completion of punch lists and ensure required documentation is complete to support successful turnover.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and scope requirements to ensure teams are prepared for field execution.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, resource needs, and overall field performance.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in construction field supervision, site leadership, or infrastructure project environments.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, field operations, and project sequencing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience coordinating teams across multiple trades.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
- Experience identifying issues and implementing practical solutions in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage field teams, leadership, customers, and subcontractors.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience supporting data center, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure projects preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Work Environment
- This role primarily operates in active construction environments and requires regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Responsibilities also include reviewing plans, schedules, reports, and technical documentation requiring close visual attention.
