Construction Superintendent

*** Relocation assistance/bonus available for qualified mainland or inter-island candidates *** Responsible for leading field operations across assigned construction projects to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget and in alignment with company quality standards and values. Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize and direct field activities in coordination with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, vendors etcDevelop and maintain short and long term schedulesMonitor daily production, site progress, manpower utilization, material deliveries, equipment usage, subcontractor performance etcLead and support Foremen and field teams to drive accountability, teamwork, productivity and executionReview project specifications to ensure proper planningConduct regular jobsite meetingsPromote and reinforce compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practicesSupport hiring, coaching and performance management of Foremen and field team personnelMaintain clear communication with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors and internal staffMaintain accurate documentation: reports, schedules, manpower updates Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field (equivalent industry experience may be considered)Minimum 5-8 years of experience in vertical construction with leadership experience in field operations, supervision or project executionProven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, schedules etcStrong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, site logistics, safety requirements, quality control and resource planningAbility to read and interpret drawings, plans, specification and schedulesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite requiredExperience with construction software Starting Salary: $140,000 per yearJob Location: Lihue HiEmployment is a locally owned and operated staffing agency located on all major Hawaiian Islands, with opportunities in Administration, Customer Service, Warehousing, Landscaping, Driving, Hospitality and more!
