Development & Implementation Responsibilities
- Supervise the total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design and working schedule.
- Accurate and timely documentation of all required paperwork including but not limited to timesheets, daily logs, inspections, incidents, RFIs.
- Aid Project Management in the development and modifications to the overall schedule prior to the beginning of construction.
General Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control and quality control).
- Interact with Project Manager regarding authorization and/or approval of all project personnel, subcontractors, purchase requisitions, field design change requests, etc.
- Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
- Communicate and assist with Project Management in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.
- Perform overall building layout and other project site layouts as standard by general contractor.
- Understand and be able to perform any craft work required for self-performed trades.
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship program in carpentry or other construction related field.
- Preferred Work Experience: 10 years in construction field.
- Required Work Experience: 5 years in construction supervision.
- REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Certified competent person in the following: rigging & signaling, excavation, confined entry.
- Certified First Aid & CPR.
- Certified MTE & Aerial Lift Training.
- Certified OSHA 30.
