Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain workflow and productivity.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and other documentation for on-site activities.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies; conduct regular toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
- Schedule and supervise critical path activities, ensuring efficient utilization of labor and materials.
- Collaborate with project managers to maintain project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates on on-site progress.
- Facilitate coordination between trades, ensuring work is sequenced and completed efficiently.
- Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment allocation, and site organization.
- Conduct pre-installation meetings to ensure all parties understand the scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards, ensuring all work meets project requirements and client expectations.
Essential Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams on-site.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure project accuracy and completeness.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with OSHA standards and regulations.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification is required; additional safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR) are a plus.
- Ability to enforce safety protocols and foster a culture of safety on-site.
- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera P6 is a plus.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
- Experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
- 5-7 years of on-site construction management experience.
- Experience in interiors, mechanical, civil, or utility services.
- Experience with healthcare construction projects is highly preferred.

Pay
$115,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year (commensurate with skills & experience)
