Construction Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of industrial and manufacturing construction projects across multiple locations. Based out of Richmond, VA, the ideal candidate will travel to job sites throughout the region and nationally as needed. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of industrial and manufacturing construction projects.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and within the allotted time schedule.
• Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to permit them to perform their work effectively and to integrate it with project schedules and progress.

Essential Skills

• At least five years of experience as a lead superintendent on industrial or commercial projects.
• Experience in ground-up commercial or industrial projects is required.
• Ability to travel nationwide.
• Proficiency in construction management and supervision.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pre-cast or tilt-up construction experience preferred.
• Experience with design-build projects.

Pay and Benefits
