Responsibilities
- Lead onsite implementation and activation of Nurse Call and Connected Solutions systems for healthcare construction and renovation projects.
- Cook up and oversee low-voltage contractors, cabling vendors, and installation teams to ensure work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Support construction, installation, configuration, and deployment activities that help caregivers access the communication tools they rely on to coordinate patient care.

- Perform site inspections, construction walks, system testing, and quality reviews; identify installation deficiencies and track corrective actions through completion.
- Configure, validate, and troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and integrated communication systems during deployment and go-live activities.
- Translate hospital operational and clinical workflow requirements into system configurations and implementation plans.
- Provide onsite technical support before, during, and after implementation, resolving system, device, and integration issues.
- Maintain project documentation, issue logs, testing records, and implementation deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support additional Connected Solutions deployments, training activities, and implementation projects as needed (approximately 5% travel).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare technology implementations, healthcare construction, low-voltage systems, clinical communications platforms, or IT infrastructure environments.
- Experience coordinating installation vendors, contractors, or construction activities in healthcare, commercial, or technology deployment settings.
- Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, network connectivity, and integrated technology systems.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, TCP/IP networking, system integrations, device deployments, and client/server environments.
- Experience supporting healthcare technology solutions used in hospitals, clinics, or patient care environments.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and technical installation documentation.
- Experience documenting testing, validation, issue resolution, and system acceptance activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Healthcare Technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional Certifications: Certification in Healthcare Information Management Systems (HMIS) or similar certifications preferred.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68,000 - $93,500. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.

Schedule
This is a fully onsite position based in Fairfax, VA, supporting healthcare facilities throughout the surrounding area. Travel to local customer sites is required as part of daily responsibilities. Occasional travel outside the region may be required for training and project support.
