Construction Site Superintendent

About the role

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) projects.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings
• Auxiliary with pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection
• Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit required milestones on schedule
• Create project safety binder and review with subcontractors
• Administer safety program
• Order any construction related items (dumpsters, storage, etc.)
• Lead construction review meetings
• Document progress weekly for the Owner
• Aid in the commissioning effort
• Register applicable equipment for warranties
• Schedule factory start-ups and ensure start-up sheets are filled out, and submitted as required for warranties
• Support Owner training – scheduling, coordination, etc.
• Address project issues
• Resolve warranty issues as needed
• Develop O&M manuals and as-builts

Requirements

• Experience with both HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Qualifications

• Proven track record in construction management
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Schedule

The Construction Site Superintendent may be required to work on-site during heavy construction phases and may work remotely or in the office during other project periods.
