Construction Site Superintendent
About the role
CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role is part of our Energy Solutions division, which focuses on delivering Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) to upgrade and renovate facilities in a budget-neutral or positive way.
Responsibilities
- Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings
- Aid in pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection
- Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit required milestones on schedule
- Create and administer safety programs
- Order construction related items (dumpsters, storage, etc.)
- Lead construction review meetings
- Document progress weekly in field reports for the Owner
- Assist with commissioning efforts
- Register applicable equipment for warranties
- Schedule factory start-ups and ensure start-up sheets are filled out and submitted as required for warranties
- Train Owners on project details
- Resolve warranty issues as needed
- Develop operation and maintenance manuals and as-built documents
Requirements
- Experience with both HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction

Schedule
Travel is required to job sites. During heavy construction, the Construction Site Superintendent is on-site at all times. During other project periods, they may not be on-site every day and can work at the office or possibly remotely to assist with other projects.
