Construction Site Security Officer

About the Role

Securitas Security Officers play an essential role for our clients and in society, helping maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Security Officers also provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling locations to maintain security.
• Enforce client site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and customers.

Requirements

• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, which may include climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Driver Certification (if applicable).

Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary. Candidates with a background in retail, food service, or hospitality are a great fit. Training will be provided for those new to the security industry.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekly pay.
