Responsibilities
- Determine the appropriate materials and supplies necessary for each step of the job
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment by preparing and cleaning construction areas before, during, and after projects
- Assist with general construction site duties and daily project operations
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
- Support skilled trades workers including carpenters, painters, and electricians
- Follow project plans, instructions, and company procedures to complete assigned tasks
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and site needs
Requirements
- Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience
- Minimum of 2 years of construction or general labor experience preferred
- Working knowledge of construction skilled trades
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be willing and able to follow ALL safety precautions with appropriate PPE, follow company safety protocols, environmental, and OSHA safety best practices
