Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a Construction Services Supervisor in our Washington, DC; Maryland; or Virginia office locations. Responsibilities IncludeManaging and mentoring staff, including assigning work and monitoring work qualityLeading construction inspectors on materials testing and inspection proceduresConducting, coordinating, evaluating, and recommending training to develop staff skillsAssisting the Department Manager with staffing resource allocation and business planningProviding project management and supervision for CEI projectsManaging business development opportunities and client relationshipsEnsuring transportation group and M&H policies/procedures are maintained and followed A valid driver’s license and travel will be required. The Successful Candidate Must Have All The FollowingBachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or universityAt least 3 years of relevant engineering experienceORAssociate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or universityAt least 5 years of relevant engineering experienceORIf no degree, must have at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The FollowingPE license in MD, DC or VATen (10) years of industry-related experienceConstruction Manager (CCM) CertificationExperience supervising and mentoring staffExperience with construction site quality control and quality assurance, claim reviews, and reviewing change ordersExperience with cost estimates and project schedulingExperience preparing proposals and managing contracts If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers. Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000 annually - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set, or location.
