Construction Services Supervisor

About the role
We are seeking a full-time Construction Services Supervisor for our Washington, DC; Maryland; or Virginia office locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor staff, including assigning work and monitoring work quality
- Lead construction inspectors on materials testing and inspection procedures
- Conduct, coordinate, evaluate, and recommend training to develop staff skills
- Assist the Department Manager with staffing resource allocation and business planning
- Provide project management and supervision for CEI projects
- Manage business development opportunities and client relationships
- Ensure transportation group and Mead & Hunt policies/procedures are maintained and followed
A valid driver’s license and travel will be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 3 years of relevant engineering experience
- OR Associate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- OR If no degree, at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience
Qualifications
- PE license in MD, DC, or VA
- Ten (10) years of industry-related experience
- Construction Manager (CCM) Certification
- Experience supervising and mentoring staff
- Experience with construction site quality control and quality assurance, claim reviews, and reviewing change orders
- Experience with cost estimates and project scheduling
- Experience preparing proposals and managing contracts
Strong communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Pay
Salary range: $115,000 to $145,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skill set, or location.
