Responsibilities
- Perform construction observation and administration on AE2S water reservoir, pipeline, pump station, and facility projects.
- Ensure appropriate communication between the Owner and Engineer to keep all parties updated on progress and quality of the project.
- Work with Contractors to ensure the project document requirements, process, schedule, and related contractual obligations are understood by Contractors performing work for Owner.
- Understand duties and responsibilities under Engineer’s Agreement with the Owner, as well as the Contractor’s Contract with the Owner for each project to ensure obligations and expectations are met.
- Maintain and prepare appropriate files, reports, and records for documentation purposes including daily reports, tracking reports, photos, close out paperwork, and other information related to the project.
- Attend meetings and follow up with other construction representatives and personnel related to scheduling, workforce, material delivery, change orders, RFI, start up, etc.
- Represent AE2S in a highly professional and respectful manner at all times.
Requirements
- Related construction field experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- 5+ years of construction experience or engineering-based construction observation and administration experience (willing to consider candidates with less experience).
- Ability to travel and work remotely with overnight stays as required.
