Construction Representative

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities on transportation, civil, and municipal infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Document daily field and inspection activities, including material sampling, testing, and quantity measurements.
• Aid in preconstruction meetings, progress updates, and conflict resolution sessions; prepare and negotiate construction change orders.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and SEH team members.
• May assist in the development of proposals, estimating project budgets and schedules, and completing constructability reviews.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in the construction field.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate rough terrain on construction sites.
• Willingness to travel for team meetings, client consultations, and on-site observations.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include possession of applicable DOT technical certifications or ability to obtain within six (6) months.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Familiarity with BlueBeam software.

This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH’s Driving Program.

Pay

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $xxx and $xxx based on skill set and experience.
