Construction Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and complete high-quality electrical field work.
• Increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency by operating a company vehicle responsibly.
• Communicate with vendors, engineers, owners, service managers, and other contractors to ensure projects are completed within scope and budget.
• Treat clients with the highest degree of respect and foster a partnership environment.
• Investigate and problem-solve to determine the most efficient ways to install changes to existing service.
• Assist other team members and maintain a neat and process-oriented work style.
• Manage and maintain all tools, ensuring they are used appropriately.
• Estimate the time and material required for service tasks, considering the needs and manpower requirements.
• Communicate effectively on any issues or areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Current TX electrical journeyman license.
• Minimum of 4 years documented field work in the industrial and/or commercial industry, or completion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship program.
• Current driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Knowledge of and adherence to all safety and traffic laws in the state of Texas.
• Excellent understanding of the electrical industry.
• Punctuality, motivation, and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivation and flexibility to adapt to Cummings’ business strategies.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
