Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high ratings for client satisfaction, safety performance, and project execution.
• Identify and manage project risks and requirements.
• Create and manage project schedules, ensuring accountability among stakeholders.
• Lead OAC and subcontractor meetings.
• Generate and mine new business leads.
• Lead company-wide initiatives to improve project management and construction execution.
• Identify and secure self-perform work opportunities.
• Pursue RFQ/RFPs, developing compelling proposals.
• Negotiate Owner contracts, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, and financial objectives.
• Guide project teams in schedule development and conflict resolution.
• Mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Approve subcontractor/vendor POs and contracts.
• Review and approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts.
• Optimize project profitability and resource utilization.
• Ensure diversity and SDI adherence.
• Drive timely financial closeouts and warranty issue resolution.
• Lead timely issue resolution and proactively address project challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Industry certifications (PE, OSHA, USGBC, CMAA, ASHE) are a plus.
• 15-20+ years of increasing responsibility in construction project management.
