About the role
Lead cross-functional teams to manage multiple construction and renovation projects across a large geographic area for enterprise, consumer goods, and/or services clients. Oversee projects from initiation through completion, managing design professionals, contractors, and stakeholders while ensuring projects meet established goals for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on management and oversight of multiple projects including renovations, building infrastructure, large remodels, and new ground-up construction.
- Concurrently manage various project phases—initiation, design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and financial closeout—across multiple locations.
- Demonstrate full accountability for end-to-end project delivery.
- Lead project teams consisting of architects, engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, and client stakeholders.
- Provide weekly project activity updates to Team Lead regarding schedule, risks, budget status, and anticipated cash flow using JLL technology.
- Develop risk management plans and ensure compliance with work authorization processes to prevent impacts or incidents in critical environments.
- Support client decision-making by providing data, formal recommendations, and risk assessments for review and approval.
- Prepare and oversee accurate project documentation—charter, due diligence reports, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, funding requests, status reports, punch lists, and special reports—on time and in pre-established formats to pass client reviews.
- Manage vendors to ensure compliance with all project policies and procedures, including formal project closeout within 90 days of completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
- 10–15 years of project management experience covering all aspects of design and construction.
- Proven experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications.
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, FF&E specifications, design and space planning concepts, and construction costs and schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management certification.
- LEED Certification.
- PMP Certification.
Location & Travel
Must reside in the geographic area specified in the job posting. This is a remote position with up to 60% travel required for projects throughout the region. Mileage reimbursement provided, or car rental option for extended travel.
