Construction Scaffolding Labor AZ - Professional Sporting Events
About the role
As a Professional Sports Scaffolding Laborer at InProduction, you will build and dismantle scaffolding structures at professional venues such as football and soccer stadiums, baseball fields, tennis courts, golf courses, hockey rinks, and racetracks. You’ll work in crews of up to five employees, traveling together from job to job. This is a full-time, year-round position with consistent work, primarily outdoors. Overnight travel is routine, with assignments lasting 90+ days at a time. Travel accommodations and hotel lodging (double occupancy) are provided, often with kitchen facilities for meal preparation.
Responsibilities
- Build and breakdown scaffolds, install ladders, walkways, and handrails
- Assist in the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment according to project plans
- Inspect all scaffold components prior to assembly
- Clean and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and materials
- Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and vehicles
- Study plans and equipment lists prior to on-site installation
- Follow appropriate safety measures, including wearing and using safety equipment
- Maintain fall protection requirements while erecting/dismantling scaffolds
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment at the end of each shift
- Ensure client satisfaction regarding service quality and project completion within planned schedules
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Background check and drug screening required
- Valid driver’s license preferred, with a good driving record
- Familiarity with basic hand tools (drills, saws, hammers, etc.)
- Comfortable working at heights
- Creative problem solver with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to read and understand basic safety instructions
- Preferred backgrounds: Scaffolding, Carpentry, Construction, Laboring, or Events
- Capable of working overtime
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
