About the role

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a self-driven and motivated Sales Consultant to join our team. This role works in a team environment to deliver high-quality buildings backed by superior warranties. The primary focus is on pre-sale responsibilities such as prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, solution development, and guiding customers through the buying process. The remaining 30% of the role involves post-sale project management, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Possess 2 years of sales or account management experience or 5 years of construction management experience.
  • Hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of managing an accurate and organized sales pipeline using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Have minimal overnight travel required beyond the initial training and onboarding period.
  • Develop and maintain an adequate sales funnel to meet or exceed established sales budgets.
  • Grow existing market share and be readily available during construction relative work hours.
  • Coordinate all individuals involved in the building project, including MBI personnel, hire and manage subcontractors, and navigate permitting requirements.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, along with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reside within 30 miles of the assigned territory within 30 days of hire date.
