Construction Sales Consultant

About the role

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a self-driven and motivated Sales Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on increasing market share within a designated geographical territory, cultivating new customers, and maintaining relationships with existing ones. The position involves working in a team environment to deliver high-quality, warranty-backed buildings to customers.

Responsibilities

• Possess 2 years of sales or account management experience or 5 years of construction management experience.
• Hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office and able to maintain an accurate sales pipeline using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Travel up to 20% of the time for training and onboarding, with minimal overnight travel required thereafter.
• Develop and manage a sales funnel to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Grow existing market share and be available during construction-related work hours.
• Coordinate all parties involved in the building project, including MBI personnel, subcontractors, and navigating permitting requirements.
• Maintain customer confidentiality and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must reside within 30 miles of the assigned territory within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

A minimum of an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management is preferred.

Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to integrate various technologies into daily activities are essential. The candidate should also possess strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
