About the role

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sales Consultant to join our team. This role covers the Red River Valley area and works in a team environment to deliver high-quality, built-to-order buildings with superior warranties.

Responsibilities

  • Possess 2 years of sales or account management experience, or 5 years of construction management experience.
  • Hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of managing a sales pipeline in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time, primarily overnight, beyond the initial training and onboarding period.
  • Develop and maintain a sales funnel to meet or exceed established sales targets.
  • Grow existing market share and be available during construction-related work hours.
  • Coordinate all individuals involved in the building project, including MBI personnel, subcontractors, and navigate permitting requirements.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and display excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the changing construction industry.
  • Reside within 30 miles of the assigned territory within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to integrate various technologies into daily activities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Pay

The starting annual pay range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000. Earnings expand year over year based on experience, portfolio growth, and annual increases.
