About the role

We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across the jobsite with Field Operations and Project Operations team members, as well as the General Contractor and other trade partners
  • Aid in the collection of safety records following trainings sessions
  • Document all injuries, incidents, and near misses
  • Sign daily paperwork to verify proper hazard and mitigation assessment
  • Maintain oversight of large construction sites and enforce compliance with government rules & regulations
  • Complete audits and daily reports describing activities completed, and issues, etc.
  • Stay updated with safety policies and trends, i.e. meeting the latest safety standards and establishing new ones from time-to-time as newer risks are discovered
  • Attend all safety meetings on the job sites

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of safety experience in construction OR 5 years of field/project experience on a commercial construction site OR a degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or completed an apprenticeship program)
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Completed OSHA 10-hour construction training course
  • Bonus points for completing OSHA 30-hour construction training course, Board of Certified Safety Professionals (CHST) certification, and experience in electrical construction

  • Pass random drug screens

Pay

Pay Range: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour (Eligible for overtime)
