Construction Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and develop effective sourcing strategies
• Utilize various recruitment sources, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to attract qualified candidates
• Screens resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings to verify candidate credentials
• Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment, following company policies and guidelines
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, including candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring status

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in construction recruitment, preferably in the industrial and design-build sectors
• Knowledge of construction industry terminology, crafts, trades, and job roles
• Proven track record of successfully sourcing and attracting top-tier talent for construction projects
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with hiring managers and candidates
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously
