Construction Quality Control Manager

About the role

RQ Construction is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager for a position at Naval Base King's Bay in Georgia. This role is part of the Field Operations team and requires on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement a project-specific quality control program aligned with contract requirements.
• Execute the program according to contract specifications.
• Complete administrative documentation on time.
• Cultivate customer satisfaction with the client.

Requirements

• A BA/BS degree in a relevant field is preferred, but ten or more years of combined experience in commercial construction as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer is required.
• A current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate is required, along with RMS/QCS training (preferred).
• Specialty inspection training and licenses/certificates are highly desirable.
• LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate (GA) Certificate is preferred.
• Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications are required.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet) is required.
• Specific software literacy (Procore, Autodesk Build, RMS/QCS) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience as a QC Manager is required.

Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore.

Pay

$110K-145K per year, depending on experience.
